Once your music is distributed through Udaan Muzic with Content ID enabled, it typically takes 2-4 weeks for your tracks to be fully registered in YouTube's Content ID system. After registration, detection begins immediately on new uploads.
We charge a 15% commission on gross YouTube Content ID revenue, the same as our standard distribution commission. There are no additional fees for Content ID services.
Cover songs require a mechanical license, and you can only monetize the master recording rights (your specific recording). The composition rights remain with the original songwriter/publisher. We can help you obtain mechanical licenses for covers.
If a user disputes a claim, you'll be notified and can choose to release the claim, uphold it, or request more information. We provide guidance throughout the dispute process to protect your rights while following YouTube's policies.
